A lot of driving and flying, a little shooting usually followed by a lot of swearing then a lot more driving and flying.

Most Memorable Shooting Moments

Scoring a very nervous and shaky 75 in the first range of the Adelaide Woomera match after a very late call up to the team. Not so memorable, being second on the range (99 & 97) both times some other mongrel gets a 100 at 1200yds in a championship.

Winning Strategy

Listen to father Bill and Uncle James on bullets, rifles, positions and strategy (Bullshit).

Just shoot more bullseyes than anyone else seems to work.

Advice For New Match Rifle Shooters

Take up golf, its cheaper and less frustrating.

Other Interests

Cricket.

Night owls bowls.

Golf.

Watching my girls play sport.

Chasing my wife around, amazingly a lot quicker than she was 13 years ago (go figure).

Ancestry

Left Scotland in 1849 (probably kicked out by the poms), family are still farmers at Snowtown (proves we’ve still got some stubborn Scottish blood in us), left the farm 16 years ago to live and work in Adelaide, go home as often as possible (still a country boy).
